शामली। झिंझाना पुलिस ने चेकिंग के दौरान चोरी की बाइक के साथ एक आरोपित को गिरफ्तार किया है। जानकारी के अनुसार एसपी सुकीर्ति माधव के निर्देश पर जनपद पुलिस अपराधियों की धरपकड के लिए चेकिंग अभियान चला रही है। इसी अभियान के तहत गुरुवार को झिंझाना पुलिस ने चेकिंग के दौरान बाइक सवार एक संदिग्ध युवक को रोककर बाइक के कागजात मांगे तो वह कागजात नहीं दिखा पाया जिसके बाद पुलिस ने युवक को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ की तो उसने अपना नाम मनोज पुत्र कटार सिंह निवासी गांव टोडा थाना झिंझाना बताया। आरोपित ने बताया कि उसने यह बाइक तीन साल पूर्व गांव सिकन्दरपुर निवासी एक अनजान व्यक्ति से 20 हजार रुपये में खरीदी थी। पुलिस ने आरोपित के कब्जे से एक फर्जी नंबर प्लेट भी बरामद की है।
