देहरादून:  इंडियन मेडिकल एसोसिएशन (आईएमए) उत्तराखंड ने कांवड़ यात्रा को मंजूरी न देने की मांग को लेकर मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी को पत्र लिखा है।
आईएमए ने अपने पत्र में लिखा है कि तीसरी लहर देश में दस्तक देने वाली है। कोरोना की पहली लहर के बाद कोविड गाइडलाइन का पालन नहीं किया। जिस वहज से कोरोना की दूसरी लहर ज्यादा खतरनाक साबित हुई।

अपनी पिछली विफलता से सीखते हुए हमें कांवड़ भक्तों को राज्य की सीमाओं में प्रवेश नहीं करने देना चाहिए और उत्तराखंड को कोविड की तीसरी लहर से सुरक्षित रखना चाहिए। यहां तक कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी आज कोविड प्रोटोकॉल का पालन करने में हमारी लापरवाही पर चिंता प्रकट की है।
