हल्द्वानी:  कोरोना काल में जिला प्रशासन मुनाफाखोरी,जमाखोरी तथा ऐसे अन्य गतिविधियों को नियंत्रण करने के लिए पूरे जनपद में अभियान चलाए हुए हैं।

वहीं वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक प्रीति प्रियदर्शिनी भी लगातार जनपद की अवैध गतिविधियों में लिप्त लोगों पर नकेल कसने में लगी हुई हैं।

इसी के चलते रविवार को एक एंबुलेंस चालक को एसओजी की टीम ने हल्द्वानी से उस समय गिरफ्तार किया. जब वह मुखानी क्षेत्र से गौलापार क्षेत्र को जाने के लिए प्रशासन द्वारा निर्धारित रुपए से करीब 1200 अधिक वसूलता हुआ पाया गया. एसओजी की इस कार्यवाही से क्षेत्र के एंबुलेंस संचालकों में हड़कंप मचा हुआ है।

वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक को कई दिनों से लगातार सूचनाएं मिल रही थी कि कुछ एंबुलैंस चालक प्रशासन द्वारा तय रेटों से ज्यादा किराया वसूल रहे हैं। ऐसी ही सूचनाओं को पुख्ता करने का जिम्मा उन्होंने एसओजी प्रभारी सुधीर कुमार को सौंपा।

जिस पर एसओजी की टीम ने सूचनाओं के आधार पर सेंट्रल हास्प्टिल के बाहर अपना जाल बिछाया। यहां आजादनगर के लाइन नंबर 5 निवासी शाहरूख खान अपनी एंबुलैंस लेकर खड़ा था।

उसके पास एसओजी के जवान मरीज का तीमारदार बनकर गया। उसने बताया कि गौलापार शव ले जाना है।इस पर शाहरूख ने उससे दो हजार रुपये किराया देने के लिए कहा।

जबकि गौलापार का किराया प्रशासन ने 800 रूपये तय किया है। एसओजी के जवान ने शाहरूख को दो हजार रुपये दिए। इसी बीच एसओजी की बाकी टीम वहां पहुंच गई और एंबुलैंस चालक शाहरूख को रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।

एसएसपी प्रीति प्रियदर्शिनी ने कहा है कि मरीजों की मजबूरी का फायदा उठाने वाले ऐसे लोगों के खिलाफ पुलिस का अभियान आगे भी पूरे जनपद में जारी रहेगा।
