हरिद्वार:  अखिल भारतीय अखाड़ा परिषद के अध्यक्ष महंत नरेंद्र गिरी की तबीयत खराब हो गई है।

जिसके बाद उन्हें एम्स ऋषिकेश में इलाज के लिए भर्ती किया गया है। बीते दिनों ही नरेंद्र गिरी कोरोना पॉजिटिव पाए गए थे.।

जिसके बाद वो आश्रम में ही आइसोलेट थे। वहीं, नरेंद्र गिरी की तबीयत में सुधार नहीं हो रहा था। जिस पर डॉक्टरों ने जांच के बाद एम्स ऋषिकेश रेफर कर दिया है।

कुंभ मेला मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी अर्जुन सिंह सेंगर ने बताया कि उनकी हालत में कुछ सुधार न होने के कारण उन्हें एम्स ऋषिकेश भेजा गया है।फिलहाल महंत नरेंद्र गिरी की हालत स्थिर है।

बीते 11 अप्रैल को अखाड़ा परिषद के अध्यक्ष नरेंद्र गिरी की कोरोना रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई थी।

उससे पहले स्वास्थ्य बिगड़ने के चलते नरेंद्र गिरि महाराज को हरिद्वार के निजी हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती कराया गया था, जहां उनका इलाज किया गया। उस समय जब उनका कोरोना टेस्ट किया गया तो उनकी रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई।

कुछ ही दिनों पहले उन्होंने संघ प्रमुख मोहन भागवत से मुलाकात की थी। मोहन भागवत भी कोरोना पॉजिटिव हैं।

अखिल भारतीय अखाड़ा परिषद के अध्यक्ष महंत नरेंद्र गिरि के कोरोना पॉजिटिव होने से साधु संतों में भी हड़कंप मचा गया था। नरेंद्र गिरी निरंजनी अखाड़े में आइसोलेट थे।

वहीं, कोरोना का हरिद्वार में प्रकोप जारी है। बीते रोज शाही स्नान के दिन भी हरिद्वार में 563 कोरोना संक्रमित मरीज मिले हैं। इनमें 112 लोग ऐसे हैं, जो दूसरे राज्यों से हरिद्वार स्नान के लिए आए थे।

वहीं, कुंभ मेला क्षेत्र की बात करें तो मेला क्षेत्र में भी 102 पॉजिटिव मरीज मिले हैं।
