-जौलीग्राण्ट से अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय उड़ानें शुरू करने की मांग

-देहरादून, पंतनगर और दिल्ली को हवाई कनेक्टिविटी से जोड़ा जाये

देहरादून/नई दिल्ली:  उत्तराखंड में विदेशी हवाई सेवाओं का संचालन किये जाने को लेकर उत्तराखंड के पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने आज केंद्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन राज्यमंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) हरदीप सिंह पुरी से मुलाकात की।

उत्तराखंड के पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने आज केंद्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन राज्यमंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) हरदीप सिंह पुरी से नई दिल्ली स्थित उनके कार्यालय पर भेंट कर उत्तराखंड स्थित जनपद पिथौरागढ़ में हवाई कनेक्टिविटी के साथ साथ राज्य में अन्तर्रराष्टीय उड़ानें शुरू किये जाने सहित अनेक विषयों पर चर्चा की।

सतपाल महाराज ने बताया कि विधायक चंद्र पंत ने उनसे आग्रह किया था कि पंतनगर के लिए देहरादून व दिल्ली से हवाई सेवाएं प्रारंभ होनी चाहिएं। उनके इस आग्रह और प्रदेश में विदेशी पर्यटकों की आवक के लिए केंद्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन राज्यमंत्री से मुलाकात कर मैंने उनसे राज्य में हवाई सेवाएं शुरू करने का अनुरोध किया गया है। मैंने उन्हें बताया कि दिल्ली से एक दिन फ्लाइट पंतनगर के लिए चले, पंतनगर से देहरादून और देहरादून से दिल्ली आ जाए जबकि अन्य दिनों में दिल्ली से देहरादून और देहरादून से पंतनगर और पंतनगर से दिल्ली के लिए जहाज उड़ान भरे।

मुझे प्रसन्नता है कि मेरे इस प्रस्ताव पर नागरिक उड्डयन राज्यमंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) हरदीप सिंह पुरी ने मुझे आश्वस्त किया है कि वह इस पर शीघ्र ही कार्यवाही करेंगे। सतपाल महाराज ने जौलीग्रांट हवाई अड्डे के विस्तार के लिए केंद्र सरकार का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए केंद्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन राज्यमंत्री को सौंपे एक पत्र में उनसे आग्रह किया है कि यहां विदेशी हवाई सेवाओं के संचालन की भी अनुमति प्रदान की जानी चाहिए। ताकि अधिक से अधिक विदेशी पर्यटक उत्तराखंड स्थित पवित्र धामों के दर्शन करने के साथ-साथ पर्यटन स्थलों का  आनंद ले सकें।

सतपाल महाराज ने केंद्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री हरदीप सिंह पुरी से मुलाकात के दौरान उन्हें बताया कि उत्तराखंड पर्यटन की दृष्टि से एक प्रमुख गंतव्य के रूप में उभर रहा है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय पर्यटक लगातार राज्य का दौरा करते रहे हैं। उत्तराखंड आकर पर्यटक यहाँ हिल स्टेशन, वन्यजीव पार्क, तीर्थ स्थल में घूमने के साथ साथ ट्रैकिंग मार्ग, साहसिक पर्यटन और योग केन्द्रों का लाभ उठाते हैं। इसलिए यह आवश्यक है कि हम यहां पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे का विकास करने के साथ-साथ वैंकूवर जैसे शहरों की तरह इनबॉउंड विदेशी पर्यटकों के लिए कनेक्टिविटी की उचित व्यवस्था पर ध्यान दें।

उन्होंने नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री को कहा कि उत्तराखंड के लोकप्रिय स्थलों हेमकुंड साहिब, चारधाम, ऋषिकेश, मसूरी, औली आदि में न्यूयॉर्क दुबई लंदन से आने वाले पर्यटकों के लिए एयरबस 380 बोइंग 777 जैसी अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ाने सीधे राज्य में पहुंचनी चाहिएं ताकि देश विदेश से यहां आने वाले पर्यटकों की संख्या में वृद्धि होने के साथ-साथ प्रदेश की आर्थिकी में भी वृद्धि हो। सतपाल महाराज ने केंद्रीय नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री को बताया कि उत्तराखंड में अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ाने आने से फलों, फूलों और जड़ी-बूटियों जैसे स्थानीय उत्पादों हस्तशिल्प और आंतरिक बाजारों को भी बढ़ावा मिलने के साथ ही प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के विजन लोकल फॉर वोकल को भी साकार करने में मदद मिलेगी।
