देहरादून: विश्वभर में हर साल 5 जून को विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस मनाया जाता है। इस दिन को मनाए जाने का मुख्य उद्देश्य पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति आम जनमानस को जागरूक करना है। विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के मौके पर कई समाजसेवी और जनप्रतिनिधियों ने पेड़ लगाकर पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया है।

इस मौके पर उत्तराखंड के मशहूर लोक गायक नरेंद्र सिंह नेगी ने प्रदेश के लोगों को गढ़वाली गीत के माध्यम से पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया है। नरेंद्र सिंह नेगी ने सोशल मीडिया के द्वारा अपना यह संदेश लोगों तक पहुंचाया। इस गीत के माध्यम से वो लोगों से आह्वान कर रहे हैं कि आने वाली पीढ़ी के लिए पर्यावरण को बचाना अति आवश्यक है।

आज जिस तेजी के साथ हम अपने स्वार्थ के लिए पेड़ों को काट रहे हैं। हम जाने अनजाने में कहीं न कहीं अपनी आने वाली पीढ़ी की सांसें छीन रहे हैं। बता दें कि उत्तराखंड के मशहूर लोक गायक नरेंद्र सिंह नेगी अक्सर समाज से जुड़ी विभिन्न गंभीर समस्याओं पर लोकगीत के माध्यम से संदेश देते रहते हैं।

इससे पहले नरेंद्र सिंह नेगी ने उत्तराखंड के पहाड़ी इलाकों की पलायन की समस्या पर भी गीत के माध्यम से लोगों को संदेश दिया था। इस गीत में उन्होंने पलायन की वजह से वीरान हो चुके गांवों का जिक्र किया है।
