असम राइफल्स में तैनात उत्‍तराखंड का एक और जवान शहीद

खटीमा:  उत्तराखंड के लिए देश से दो बुरी खबर आई। देवभूमि के दो बेटे देश के लिए शहीद हो गए। इस खबर से उत्तराखंड में शोक की लहर है। बता दें कि चमोली निवासी सचिन प्रयागराज से दिल्ली आते हुए शहीद हो गए। वो ऑन ड्यूटी थे और किसी काम से प्रयागराज से निकले थे लेकिन वो शहीद हो गए। वहीं दूसरी ओर असम राइफल्स में तैनात उत्तराखंड का एक और जवान भारत के लिए अपनो प्राणों को न्यौछावर कर गया।

मिली जानकारी के अनुसार ऊधमसिंहनगर के खटीमा निवासी शहीद हवलदार हयात सिंह को सैन्य सम्मान के साथ बीते दिन अंतिम विदाई दी गई। बुधवार को बनबसा शारदा घाट पर उनका अंतिम संस्कार किया गया। जानकारी मिली है कि उल्‍फा उग्रवादियों ने 12 जुलाई को हवलदार हयात का अपहरण कर लिया था और 16 जुलाई को उनका पार्थिव शरीर मिला था। मणिपुर के दीमापुर में उनका पार्थिव शरीर मिला। झनकट डिफेंस कालोनी निवासी 48 वर्षीय हयात सिंह पुत्र स्व. त्रिलोक सिंह महर मूल रूप से पिथौरागढ़ जौरासी जमतड़ के रहने वाले थे। वर्तमान में वह 31 असम राइफल्स मणिपुर में तैनात थे। उनकी सेना में 27 साल की सेवा हो चुकी थी। 16 जुलाई को शहीद होने की सूचना मिलने के बाद परिवार में कोहराम मच गया।

बता दें कि मौसम खराब होने के कारण फ्लाइट रद्द चल रही हैं जिस कारण जवान का पार्थिव शरीर 5वें दिन बुधवार को उनके घर पहुंचा। जवान के पार्थिव शरीर को देखते हुए शहीद के परिजन लिपटकर रोने लगे पत्नी बेसुध हो गए और बेटा बेटी बिलख कर रोने लगे। हवलदार के शहीद होने की सूचना पर विधायक डा. प्रेम सिंह राणा समेत बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण उनके आवास पहुंचे और उन्हें श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित किए। विधायक डा. राणा ने स्वजनों को ढांढस बंधा हर संभव मदद का भरोसा दिया। वहीं बनबसा 8 जैकलाई रेजीमेंट के जवानों ने शहीद हयात के घर पहुंच अंतिम सलामी दी। इसके बाद शव को अंतिम संस्कार के लिए बनबसा स्थित शारदा घाट ले जाया गया।
