देहरादून, 22 जुलाई, परम्पराओं को सहेज कर रखना हम सभी का दायित्व है, संकल्प, पूजा, पद्दति विभिन्न हो सकती हैं लेकिन गन्तव्य सभी का एक सा है। इस दायित्व का निर्वहन करना मात्र ब्राह्मणों का काम नहीं है बल्कि समाज के अन्य वर्गों की जिम्मेदारी भी बनती है।

उक्त उदबोधन आज टपकेश्वर महादेव मंदिर, परिसर में आयोजित ब्राह्मण समाज महासंघ के द्वितीय स्थापना दिवस पर आयोजित समारोह में अध्यक्ष पद से बोलते हुए अनन्त विभूषित महंत किशनगिरी जी महाराज ने व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि आज युवा पीढ़ी को संस्कारवान बनाने की आवश्यकता है। ब्राह्मणों को इस दिशा में ज्यादा सक्रिय होने की जरूरत है। ब्राह्मणों की मिल बैठकर मंथन करना चाहिए ।

भागवताचार्य पं. सुभाष चन्द्र जोशी ने कहा कि कर्म में आचरण की श्रेष्ठता प्रमुख होनी चाहिए। ब्राह्मण ने अपनी पहचान खो दी है, वह शिखा, सूत्र, सन्दल (तिलक), शस्त्र व शास्त्र से दूर हो गया है। अपने गणवेश छोड़ चुका है। वाणी का माधुर्य का त्याग कर चुका है । हमें अपनी पहचान को अपनाना ही होगा ।

आचार्य पवन कुमार शास्त्री ने कहा कि ब्राह्मण के आशीर्वाद से सभी वर्ग आगे बढ़ते हैं, ब्राह्मण सदैव दूसरों के लिए जीता है। एक मुस्लिम राजा एक ब्राह्मण को अपने साथ रख सकता है लेकिन एक ब्राह्मण राजा, नेता व अधिकारी एक ब्राह्मण को अपने साथ नहीं रख सकता। ये आज की विडम्बना है। एकजुटता व ताकत से राजनीति में दबाव बनाया जा सकता है।

पंडित उदयशंकर भट्ट ने कहा कि हिन्दू कोई धर्म नहीं, बल्कि संस्कृति है, जबकि सनातन धर्म है, सनातन रहेगा तो हम रहेंगे। ब्राह्मण कोई जाति नही, वरन जीवन जीने की कला व संस्कृति है।

महासंघ के मुख्य संयोजक ओ.पी. वशिष्ठ ने केंद्र सरकार व राज्य सरकार से ब्राह्णण आयोग के गठन करने की मांग की। उप मुख्य संयोजक एस.पी.पाठक ने महासंघ को मजबूत करने पर बल दिया।

कार्यक्रम में महासंघ के दस ब्राह्मण संगठनों के घटक दलों के प्रतिनिधियों व संयोजक मंडल द्वारा महासंघ के संरक्षकों का अंगवस्त्र व माल्यार्पण कर अभिनन्दन किया गया।

समारोह से पूर्व महासंघ के पदाधिकारियों व संयोजक मण्डल के सदस्यों द्वारा टपकेश्वर महादेव का जलाभिषेक किया, ततपश्चात विश्व कल्याण, देश में शांति, एकता व सद्भाव हेतु हवन यज्ञ का सामूहिक आयोजन किया।

समारोह की अध्यक्षता महंत किशनगिरी जी महाराज ने की तथा संचालन महासंघ के महामंत्री अरुण कुमार शर्मा ने किया ।
