शामली। कैराना में साथियों के साथ मूर्ति विसर्जन के लिए गए शहर के मौहल्ला रेलपार निवासी एक युवक यमुना में डूब गया। युवक को डूबता देखकर उसके साथियों ने शोर मचा दिया। सूचना पर कैराना कोतवाली पुलिस व गोताखोर मौके पर पहुंचे, करीब एक घंटे बाद युवक का शव यमुना से बरामद कर लिया गया। युवक की मौत से परिजनोें का भी रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है। पुलिस ने शव को अपने कब्जे में ले लिया है। जानकारी के अनुसार शहर के मौहल्ला रेलपार निवासी रोहित दिल्ली में मेट्रो में इंजीनियर के पद पर कार्यरत था। बताया जाता है कि रोहित रविवार को अपने पांच अन्य साथियों के साथ कैराना स्थित यमुना में शनिदेव की मूर्ति विसर्जन करने के लिए गया था। बताया जाता है कि रोहित अपने चचेरे भाई दीपांशु व पडौसी सागर के साथ जैसे ही यमुना में मूर्ति विसर्जन के लिए उतरा, उसका पैर फिसल गया और वह गहरे में पानी में समा गया। रोहित को डूबता देखकर उसके भाई व अन्य दोस्तों ने शोर मचा दिया जिसके बाद आसपास के लोगों ने कैराना पुलिस को मामले की सूचना दी जिस पर पुलिस गोताखोरों को लेकर मौके पर पहुंची तथा रोहित की तलाश शुरू कर दी। करीब एक घंटे बाद रोहित का शव यमुना से बरामद हो गया जिससे उसके भाई व अन्य दोस्तों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल हो गया। पुलिस की सूचना पर शामली में परिजनों में भी चीख पुकार मच गयी। परिजन तुरंत कैराना पहुंचे। मृतक के तहेरे भाई रामपाल सिंह ने बताया कि रोहित अपने परिवार का इकलौता बेटा था और दिल्ली में मेट्रो में इंजीनियर था। रोहित के दो छोटे-छोटे बच्चे हैं। रोहित की मौत से पत्नी व अन्य परिजनों में कोहराम मचा हुआ है। वहीं पुलिस ने शव को अपने कब्जे में ले लिया है।
