देहरादून। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने केंद्र सरकार से पिथौरागढ़ से नियमित रूप से हवाई सेवाओं का संचालन करने का अनुरोध किया है। इसके साथ ही क्षेत्रीय संपर्क योजना के तहत राज्य को सिंगल इंजन हैलीकॉप्टर चलाने की इजाजत देने का आग्रह किया गया है। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने नई दिल्ली में केन्द्रीय नागर विमानन मंत्री ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया से मुलाकात की। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने केंद्रीय मंत्री से राज्य में हवाई सेवाओं को मजबूत करने पर चर्चा की। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पिथौरागढ़ से नियमित रूप से हवाई सेवाओं का संचालन किया जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि पिथौरागढ़ एयरस्ट्रिप को हवाई सेवाओं की दृष्टि से अधिक व्यवहारिक बनाने के लिए भारतीय विमानपत्तन प्राधिकरण को सर्वे के लिए दिया जाए। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि क्षेत्रीय संपर्क योजना के तहत पिथौरागढ़ से हवाई सेवा के लिए हुए टेंडर के बाद हवाई सेवा को सुचारू रुप से संचालित करने के निर्देश दिए जाएं। उन्होंने इस दौरान केंद्रीय मंत्री को राज्य के लिए सैद्धांतिक रूप से मंजूर योजनाओं के बारे में भी बताया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि क्षेत्रीय संपर्क योजना के तहत पूर्व में स्वीकृत मार्ग को पाइन्ट टू पाइन्ट करने के राज्य सरकार के प्रस्ताव पर काम शुरू किया जाए।
साथ ही क्षेत्रीय सम्पर्क योजना के तहत राज्य में सिंगल इंजन हेलीकॉप्टर की भी इजाजत दी जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि पूर्व में इसकी सहमति दी जा चुकी है। उन्होंने क्षेत्रीय संपर्क योजना के तहत भारतीय विमानपत्तन प्राधिकरण द्वारा पवन हंस को सप्ताह में तीन उडान की इजाजत दी थी। उन्होंने कहा कि पवन हंस को सप्ताह के अन्य दिनों में भी कुमाऊं क्षेत्र में हवाई सेवाएं प्रदान करने की इजाजत दी जाए।
