देहरादून: श्रीदेव सुमन यूनिवर्सिटी से संबद्ध सभी कॉलेजों में पिछले साल कोरोना संक्रमण की वजह से अंतिम वर्ष की परीक्षाएं ना दे पाने वाले छात्रों को इस साल ऑनलाइन असाइनमेंट के आधार पर प्रमोट किया जायेगा। इस फैसले का असर 4 हजार छात्रों पर पड़ेगा।
यूनिवर्सिटी बोर्ड ने छात्रों को राहत देते हुए कहा कि पिछले साल कोरोना संक्रमण होने की वजह से या फिर कोरोना से जुड़े किसी मामले के कारण परीक्षा ना दे पाने वाले छात्रों को इस बार ऑनलाइन असाइनमेंट के आधार पर प्रमोट कर दिया जाएगा।
श्रीदेव सुमन विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति पीपी ध्यानी ने बताया कि ऐसा पहली बार हुआ है, जब फाइनल इयर के छात्रों को असाइनमेंट के आधार पर प्रमोट किया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि यह केवल कोविड-19 से जुड़े उन छात्रों के लिए है जो पिछली बार फाइनल इयर की परीक्षाएं नहीं दे पाए थे।
