देहरादून:  बदरीनाथ व कर्णप्रयाग से विधायक रहे पूर्व डिप्टी स्पीकर डा. अनुसूया प्रसाद मैखुरी का शनिवार को इलाज के दौरान निधन हो गया है। मैखुरी पिछले कुछ दिनों से देहरादून के एक अस्पताल में भर्ती थे। विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों के नेताओं ने डा. मैखुरी के निधन पर गहरा दुख व्यक्त किया है।

कांग्रेस नेता डा. अनुसूया प्रसाद मैखुरी को कुछ दिन पूर्व कोरोना हुआ था। कोरोेना से उबरने के बाद एक बार फिर उनका स्वास्थ्य खराब हुआ। जिस पर उन्हे उपचार के लिए तीन दिन पूर्व अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था। जहां उपचार के दौरान आज उनका निधन हो गया है।

डा. मैखुरी राज्य की पहली विधानसभा के लिए बदरीनाथ सीट से चुनकर आये थे। जिसके बाद 2012 में वह कर्णप्रयाग सीट से विधायक बने। 2012 से 17 तक वह राज्य विधानसभा में डिप्टी स्पीकर रहे। विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों के नेताओं ने डा. मैखुरी के निधन पर गहरा दुख व्यक्त किया है। विधानसभा अध्यक्ष प्रेम चंद अग्रवाल ने डॉ अनुसूया प्रसाद मैखुरी के निधन पर गहरा शोक प्रकट किया और इसे प्रदेश की अपूर्ण क्षति बताया।

विधानसभा अध्यक्ष प्रेम चंद अग्रवाल ने कहा है कि कांग्रेस पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता एवं कर्णप्रयाग से दो बार विधायक रहे डॉ अनुसूया प्रसाद मैखुरी मृदुभाषी एवं सरल स्वभाव के धनी थे। संसदीय कार्य के ज्ञाता रहे स्वर्गीय श्री मैखुरी जी ने जीवन पर्यंत आध्यात्म से ओतप्रोत होकर सामाजिक एवं राजनीतिक गतिविधियों में अपना प्रतिभाग किया ।

श्री अग्रवाल ने कहा कि उन्होंने उत्तराखंड राज्य आंदोलन में भी अपनी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई, कांग्रेस पार्टी के सच्चे सिपाही के रूप में उन्होंने जीवन पर्यंत कार्य किया। विधानसभा अध्यक्ष प्रेम चंद अग्रवाल ने शोक प्रकट करते हुए कहा है कि स्वर्गीय श्री मैखुरी ने 2012 से 2017 के बीच में उत्तराखंड विधानसभा में उपाध्यक्ष की भूमिका में अपना महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया। श्री अग्रवाल ने स्वर्गीय श्री मैखुरी के निधन पर शोक प्रकट किया और भगवान से प्रार्थना करते हुए उनकी आत्मा की शांति के लिए प्रार्थना की।
