नैनीताल:  यूं तो सरोवर नगरी नैनीताल अपने पर्यटन के लिए देश और दुनिया में जाना जाता है। हर साल लाखों की संख्या में पर्यटक नैनीताल के मौसम और यहां की हसीन वादियों का लुत्फ उठाने आते हैं।

लेकिन इस बार कोरोना के चलते नैनीताल का पर्यटन कारोबार पूरी तरह से खत्म हो गया है। सबसे बुरा असर घोड़ा कारोबारियों पर पड़ा है। उनके सामने अब खाने के भी लाले पड़ गए हैं. ऐसे में अब उन्हें सरकार से मदद की आस है।

कोरोना संक्रमण का सबसे बुरा असर नैनीताल के घोड़ा कारोबारियों पर पड़ा है। क्योंकि, पर्यटकों की आमद न होने से घोड़ा स्टैंड पर सन्नाटा पसरा हुआ है।

वहीं घोड़ा संचालक उम्मीद लगाए बैठे हैं कि पर्यटक आए और उनके घोड़े में यहां के पर्यटक स्थलों की सैर करें। जिससे घोड़ा संचालकों की कुछ आमदनी हो सकें,

लेकिन संक्रमण का खौफ लोगों के दिल में इस कदर व्याप्त है कि लोग अपने घरों से नहीं निकल रहे हैं। यही कारण है कि आज नैनीताल का सबसे प्रसिद्ध पर्यटक स्थल लवर्स प्वाइंट में वीरानी छाई हुई है। जिस वजह से घोड़ा कारोबारियों के सामने भी रोजी-रोटी का संकट खड़ा हो गया है।

लवर्स प्वाइंट आने वाले पर्यटक घुड़सवारी का लुत्फ जरूर उठाते हैं। जिससे घोड़ा संचालकों का गुजर-बसर होता था, लेकिन आज घोड़ा संचालकों के सामने दो वक्त की रोटी का संकट खड़ा हो गया है।

इतना ही नहीं घोड़ा कारोबारी अपने घोड़ों तक को दो वक्त का चारा नहीं खिला पा रहे हैं।

घोड़ा कारोबारियों का कहना है कि एक घोड़े को चारा खिलाने में 1 दिन में करीब 250 से लेकर 300 रुपये प्रतिदिन खर्च आता है। इस बार कोरोना के चलते हालात इतने खराब हो चुके हैं कि उनके पास घोड़ों को चारा खिलाने तक के पैसे नहीं हैं।

लिहाजा घोड़ा संचालक अब राज्य सरकार से मदद की आस लगाए बैठे हैं। ताकि अपने परिवार के साथ-साथ बेजुबान घोड़ों का पेट भी भर सकें।
