देहरादून: राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना इकाई राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज छरबा देहरादून का एक दिवसीय शिविर आयोजित किया गया ।

स्पर्श गंगा अभियान में गंगा की अविरल धारा को स्वच्छ व निर्मल बनाने का स्वागत करते हुए मुख्य अतिथि नमामि गंगे के पूर्व संयोजक पछवादून गुलशन कुमार ने एन एस एस के स्वयंसेवकों का आह्वान करते हुए कहा कि हमें पत्थर की तरह नहीं बल्कि गंगा के जल की तरह निर्मल व अविरल चलते हुए अपने रास्ते को स्वयं बनाना होगा तभी जाकर हम अपने उद्देश्य में सफल हो सकते हैं।

एक अच्छे नागरिक बन सकते हैं। उन्होंने कई संस्मरण भी छात्र छात्राओं को प्रेरित करने के लिए सुनाए। इससे पूर्व प्रभारी प्रधानाचार्य मनमोहन सिंह चैहान ने शॉल उड़ाकर उनका स्वागत व सम्मान किया।

कार्यक्रम अधिकारी जितेंद्र सिंह बुटोइया ने बताया कि स्पर्श गंगा अभियान से 40 हजार गढ़वाल के एन एस एस स्वयंसेवकों ने गंगा की स्वच्छता हेतु प्रयास किया है।

17 दिसंबर 2009 को तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री डॉ रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक ने इस अभियान की शुरुआत की थी और इस अभियान की ब्रांड एंबेसडर हेमा मालिनी हैं ।

स्वयंसेवकों द्वारा  मुख्य अतिथि के साथ  ग्राम छरबा में  जागरूकता रैली भी निकाली गई । इस मौके पर  उत्तराखंड बनाने के लिए  सभी स्वयंसेवकों व उपस्थित जनों द्वारा  संकल्प लिया गया।

निशानेबाजी के कोच अमर सिंह ने स्वच्छता एवं स्वास्थ्य प्रदूषण के प्रति स्वयंसेवकों को  जागरूक किया  और संघर्ष के लिए प्रेरित किया।
