देहरादून। कोरोना महामारी की दस्तक के बाद से ही लंबे समय से स्कूल और कॉलेज बंद हैं। अब एक अक्टूबर से प्रदेश के सभी महाविद्यालयों में पठन-पाठन का कार्य शुरू होने जा रहा है। यूजीसी की ओर से महाविद्यालयों को खोलने की गाइडलाइन जारी होने के बाद राज्य सरकार ने यह निर्णय लिया है। इस संबंध में उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री धन सिंह रावत की अध्यक्षता में बैठक की गई। बैठक में निर्णय लिया गया की एक सितंबर से प्रदेश के सभी महाविद्यालय खुल जाएंगे और एक अक्टूबर से महाविद्यालयों में पठन-पाठन का कार्य शुरू हो जाएगा। हालांकि, इस दौरान कोविड-19 से बचाव के लिए जारी केंद्र सरकार और यूजीसी की गाइडलाइन के अनुरूप ही पठन-पाठन का कार्य किया जाएगा। उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री धन सिंह रावत ने बताया कि यूजीसी की गाइडलाइन जारी होने के बाद प्रदेश के सभी महाविद्यालयों के कुलपतियों के साथ बैठक की गई. बैठक में भारत सरकार की एसओपी और यूजीसी की ओर से जारी गाइडलाइन पर चर्चा की गयी। जिसके बाद यह निर्णय लिया गया है कि एक सितंबर से सभी महाविद्यालय खोल दिए जाएंगे। एक अक्टूबर से पठन-पाठन का कार्य भी शुरू कर दिया जाएगा।
