गंगोह/सहारनपुर। ग्रामीण पत्रकार एसोसिएशन के त्रिमासिक कार्यक्रम में जनप्रतिनिधियों व पत्रकारों के बीच विचारों का आदान प्रदान हुआ।
कैराना सांसद प्रदीप चौधरी ने दीप प्रज्वलन उपरांत कहा कि पत्रकार सही मायनों में समाज का दर्पण है, जो शासन प्रशासन तक आमजन की बात पहुंचानें का काम करता है। उन्होंने डीएम से मिलकर सहारनपुर में प्रेस क्लब बनाने का कार्य शुरु कराया जाएगा। संगठन के जिलाध्यक्ष आलोक तनेजा ने कार्यक्रम में पहुंचने से पूर्व अमर शहीद पत्रकार गणेश शंकर विद्यार्थी की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण कर तमाम पत्रकारों को उनके पदचिन्हों पर चलने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि जिले में किसी भी पत्रकार का उत्पीड़न नहीं होने दिया जाएगा। नगर पालिका के पूर्व चेयरमैन नोमान मसूद ने कहा कि जल्द ही गंगोह में प्रमुख जमीन उपलब्ध कराएंगे तो वह नगर पालिका के सौजन्य से प्रेस क्लब का निर्माण करा देंगे। ब्लॉक प्रमुख प्रतिनिधि चौ. दिनेश ने कहा कि वह जल्द ही तकनीकी पहलुओं को देखकर गंगोह में प्रेस क्लब को जमीन उपलब्ध कराने का काम करेंगे। इसके अलावा मौलाना हबीबुल्लाह मदनी ने कहा कि पत्रकारों को समाज की बुराइयों को सामने लाकर उन्हें जड़ से समाप्त करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। सीओ रिजवान अहमद ने कहा कि प्रेस पुलिस की आंख होती है जिन चीजों की जानकारी उन्हें नहीं होती वह पत्रकारों के माध्यम से मिल जाती है। कोतवाली प्रभारी भानु प्रताप सिंह ने कहा समाज में पत्रकारिता का बहुत महत्वपूर्ण रोल होता है। गंगोह प्रेस क्लब के अध्यक्ष अरविंद टेबक, डॉ. राकेश गर्ग, महामंत्री नवाजिश खान, जिला पंचायत सदस्य सुशील कम्हेडा, पूर्व प्रधान संजय कम्हेडा ने भी अपने विचार रखे। अतिथियों को स्मृति चिन्ह भेट कर सम्मानित किया गया। अध्यक्षता सुशील मोगा और संचालन मनोज कश्यप ने किया। संयोजक अफजल खान ने सभी का आभार व्यक्त किया।
