पौड़ी:  मुख्यालय पौड़ी से सटे कोट ब्लॉक की 4 ग्राम पंचायतों की ग्रामीण अपनी ग्राम सभा में सड़क की मांग को लेकर जिला मुख्यालय पौड़ी में जमकर बरसे।

ग्रामीणों ने उनकी ग्राम सभा में सड़क की सुविधा ना होने हवाला देते हुए कहा कि सड़क ना होने के कारण लगातार ग्रामीण लोग गांव से पलायन करते हुए मैदानी इलाकों का रुख कर रहे हैं। जिसके बाद गांव में बुजुर्ग दंपति ही रह गए हैं।
जिसके कारण गांव में बीमार होने पर बुजुर्गों को डांडी-कांडी में ले जाकर 4 किलोमीटर की पैदल दूरी तय कर के अस्पताल पहुंचाया जाता है।

उन्होंने जिला प्रशासन को साफ चेतावनी दी कि अगर उनकी ग्राम सभाओं की सड़क निर्माण का कार्य जल्द शुरू नहीं कराया जाता है तो ये ग्रामीण उग्र आंदोलन करने के लिए विवश हो जाएंगे। ग्राम प्रधान अमित कोली ने कहा कि वे पिछले लंबे समय से सड़क निर्माण की मांग करते आए हैं मगर सरकारें आई और सरकारी गई। मगर उनकी ग्रामसभा को जोड़ने वाली सड़क का निर्माण अब तक नही हो पाया है।

सड़क की मांग कर रहे ग्रामीणों को अब कांग्रेस ने भी अपना समर्थन दे दिया है। कांग्रेस के जिला उपाध्यक्ष विनोद दनोशी ने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार हर गांव को सड़क से जोड़ने के लाख दावे तो करती है मगर यह दावे धरातल पर कहीं नजर नहीं आते।

उन्होंने कहा है कि पूरी कांग्रेस पार्टी इन ग्रामीणों के साथ कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर खड़ी है और अगर यह ग्रामीण उग्र आंदोलन करने के लिए विवश होते है तो कांग्रेस इन को अपना पूरा समर्थन देगी। वही पूरे मामले में अपर जिलाधिकारी एसके बर्नवाल ने कहा है कि मामले को दिखाया जा रहा है और जल्दी ही इसमें कार्यवाही की जाएगी।
