शामली। भारतीय किसान यूनियन के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष चौ० नरेश टिकैत रविवार को खेत में काम करने के दौरान ट्यूबवैल के बोरिंग में गिरकर गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। आसपास के खेतों में काम कर रहे अन्य किसान व परिजन उन्हें गांव में ही एक चिकित्सक के पास ले गए जहां उनका उपचार कराया गया। टिकैत की आंख व सर में भी काफी चोट आयी है।
जानकारी के अनुसार भारतीय किसान यूनियन के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सुबह अपने खेत पर काम करने के लिए गए थे। काम करने के दौरान वे खेत में ही लगी ट्यूबवैल पर गए लेकिन अचानक उनका संतुलन बिगड गया और ट्यूबवैल के बोरिंग में जा गिरे जिससे गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। नरेश टिकैत की चीख सुनकर आसपास के खेतों में काम कर रहे अन्य किसान तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचे तथा नरेश टिकैत को बाहर निकालकर परिजनों को मामले की जानकारी दी जिस पर परिजन भी मौके पर पहुंच गए तथा घायल टिकैत को लेकर गांव में ही एक चिकित्सक के पास पहुंचे जहां चिकित्सक ने उनका उपचार किया। हालत में सुधार होने पर चिकित्सक ने नरेश टिकैत को घर जाने की अनुमति दे दी। बताया जाता है कि नरेश टिकैत की आंख व सिर में गंभीर चोटें आयी है लेकिन उनकी स्थिति स्थिर है।
