पीले राशन कार्ड पर सोमवार से मिलेगा 20 किलो राशन

देहरादून:  कोविड महामारी से उपजे हालात के बीच प्रदेश सरकार ने गरीबी रेखा से ऊपर (एपीएल) यानी पीले राशन कार्ड धारकों को तीन महीने तक प्रति कार्ड पर 20 किलो राशन देने का निर्णय लिया है। यह योजना फिलहाल मई, जून और जुलाई तक लागू रहेगी।

इस खाद्यान का वितरण 18 मई से शुरू होना तय था, लेकिन समय पर राशन गोदाम में नहीं पहुंचने और फिर उठान में देरी के चलते वितरण शुरू नहीं हो सका। हालांकि, शनिवार को कई डीलरों ने राशन उठान कर लिया है।

सोमवार से कार्ड धारक यह राशन सस्ता गल्ला दुकान से ले सकेंगे। कोरोनाकाल में मुश्किल हालात को देखते हुए केंद्र सरकार ने पिछले साल आठ महीनों तक सफेद और गुलाबी राशन कार्ड धारकों को प्रति यूनिट पांच किलो अतिरिक्त राशन वितरित किया।

इस साल भी केंद्र ने मई-जून दो महीनों के लिए यह योजना लागू की है। वहीं, राज्य सरकार ने तीन महीनों तक पीले राशन कार्ड धारकों को साढ़े सात किलो के स्थान पर 20 किलो राशन देना तय किया है।

राज्य भर में 10 लाख और अकेले देहरादून में करीब पौने दो लाख राशनकार्ड धारकों को इसका लाभ मिलेगा। जिला पूर्ति अधिकारी जसवंत ङ्क्षसह कंडारी ने बताया कि गोदाम में यह राशन आ चुका है और राशन डीलरों ने उठान भी शुरू कर दिया है।

जिले में कई दुकानों पर सोमवार से इसका वितरण भी शुरू हो जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस राशन डीलर की दुकान पर एक साथ इतना खाद्यान रखने की जगह नहीं होगी, उसे अलग-अलग किस्त में राशन उठान की छूट होगी।

वहीं वितरण के लिए अपनी और कार्ड धारकों की सहूलियत रखने की छूट भी है। उधर, सस्ता गल्ला विक्रेता परिषद के अध्यक्ष जितेंद्र गुप्ता ने बताया कि कुछ राशन डीलरों ने उठान करना शुरू कर दिया है, लेकिन कुछ लोग सोमवार के बाद उठान कर अगले महीने की शुरुआत में राशन बांटने की तैयारी कर रहे हैं।
