देहरादून: कोरोना संक्रमण के बढ़ते ग्राफ के बीच प्रदेश में एक बार फिर अप्रैल महीने के दूसरे हफ्ते से कोविड कर्फ्यू जारी कर दिया गया है। ऐसे में कोरोनाकाल में जहां हर छोटा या बड़ा व्यापारी भारी आर्थिक नुकसान के दौर से गुजर रहा है, वहीं दूसरी तरफ बात सिनेमाघर और मल्टीप्लेक्स संचालकों की करें, तो इनका कारोबार पिछले एक साल से ठप पड़ा हुआ है।
साल 2020 में कोरोनाकाल में अनलॉक के पांचवें चरण के दौरान सिनेमाघरों और मल्टीप्लेक्स को 50ः लोगों के साथ अक्टूबर महीने में खोलने की अनुमति प्रदान की गई थी। लेकिन कोई नई बड़ी फिल्म के रिलीज न होने के चलते राजधानी देहरादून के मल्टीप्लेक्स संचालकों ने दीपावली के बाद अपने मल्टीप्लेक्स को दोबारा शुरू करने का निर्णय लिया था।
मल्टीप्लेक्स संचालक इकबाल वासु ने बताया कि दीपावली के बाद जब उन्होंने अपना मल्टीप्लेक्स दोबारा शुरू किया, तो उसके बाद भी आम जनता से कोई खास रिस्पांस नहीं मिल पाया। कुछ यही हाल शहर के अन्य मल्टीप्लेक्स का भी रहा।
कुल मिलाकर देखें तो सभी छोटे मल्टीप्लेक्स संचालकों को हर महीने 40 लाख से एक करोड़ रुपए तक का नुकसान हुआ है। इकबाल वासु बताते हैं कि कोरोनाकाल में हर महीने हो रहे लाखों-करोड़ों के आर्थिक नुकसान का बोझ ना उठा पाने के कारण सहस्त्रधारा क्रॉसिंग स्थित एक मल्टीप्लेक्स पूर्ण रुप से बंद हो चुका है।
वहीं अन्य मल्टीप्लेक्स और सिनेमाघर भी आर्थिक बोझ न झेल पाने के कारण बंद होने के कगार पर हैं। इस स्थिति में सरकार को मल्टीप्लेक्स संचालकों और सिनेमाघर संचालकों की ओर ध्यान देने की जरूरत है। यदि संभव हो तो सरकार को कम से कम बिजली के बिल में राहत देनी चाहिए।
