देहरादून: उत्तराखंड में कोरोना महामारी को देखते हुए सभी विभाग अपनी क्षमताओं के लिहाज से मदद करने के लिए सामने आ गए हैं। हर किसी का एकमात्र उद्देश्य है कि ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों की जान बचाई जा सकें।

इसी कड़ी में पशुपालन विभाग ने भी प्रशासन को ऑक्सीजन ट्रांसपोर्ट करने के लिए विभाग में प्रयुक्त होने वाले कंटेनर देने की पेशकश की है।

राज्य में ऑक्सीजन को वक्त पर अस्पताल पहुंचाने को लेकर पशुपालन विभाग की सचिव आर मीनाक्षी सुंदरम ने जिला प्रशासन को ऑक्सीजन ट्रांसपोर्ट के लिए विभाग का कंटेनर सौंप दिया है।

उत्तराखंड लाइवस्टॉक डेवलपमेंट बोर्ड द्वारा 3,000 लीटर क्षमता का एक टैंकर कोविड-19 मरीजों की सहायता और जरूरतों को देखते हुए दिया गया है।

बोर्ड के मुख्य अधिशासी अधिकारी और निदेशक पशुपालन डॉक्टर एमएस नयाल ने बताया कि दिए गए कंटेनर का उपयोग ऑक्सीजन ट्रांसपोर्ट के रूप में किया जा सकता है।

विभाग की तरफ से महामारी में अपनी तरफ से हर संभव सहयोग देने के लिए कोशिशें की जा रही हैं।

विभाग दूसरे छोटे कंटेनर की भी जरूरत पड़ने पर जिला प्रशासन को मदद देने को लेकर विचार कर रहा है।
