ऋषिकेश:  परमार्थ निकेतन के अध्यक्ष स्वामी चिदानन्द सरस्वती  जी ने युवाओं को संदेश देते हुये कहा कि 14 फरवरी को पूरी दुनिया वेलेंटाइन डे के रूप में मनाती है। इस दिन अपने-अपने तरीके से लोग प्रेम का इजहार करते हैं। इस वर्ष वैलेंटाइन डे, अपने लक्ष्य, उद्देश्य, ध्येय को पूरा करने तथा  अपनी  पसंद  की किताबों के साथ मनाये। एक ऐसे लक्ष्य की ओर बढ़े जिसमें सार्वभौमिक हित समाहित हो।

हमारे दिलों में पूरी दुनिया के सभी प्राणियों के लिये प्रेम और शांति हो, एक ऐसी सार्वभौमिक प्रार्थना हो जिसमें हर किसी के लिये प्रेम हो, करूणा हो, कहीं भी भेदभाव न हो इन भावनाओं के साथ आगे बढ़ने से दुनिया में बहुत बड़ा बदलाव लाया जा सकता है।स्वामी जी ने युवाओं से कहा कि अपने प्रेम की ऊर्जा का उपयोग स्वयं की उन्नति में, सकारात्मक इच्छाओं को पूरा करने एवं अपने लक्ष्य की ओर बढ़ने हेतु लगाये तथा स्वार्थ से उपर उठकर राष्ट्र हित की अवधारणाओं को पूरा करने की ओर बढ़े।

उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे आस-पास अनेक हमारे मित्र है जिनके बिना हम अपने जीवन की कल्पना भी नहीं कर सकते। वह ‘परम मित्र’ है हमारा ग्रह, जल स्रोत, पेड़ जो हमें प्राणवायु  ऑक्सीजन देते हैं और यह पूरा पर्यावरण जिसके बिना मानव का जीवन संभव नहीं है इनके साथ प्रेम, करूणा और मानवतापूर्ण व्यवहार करे।

प्रेम बांटना अच्छी बात है परन्तु प्रेम, क्षणिक नहीं शाश्वत होना हो जिससे स्वयं को भी खुशी मिले तथा परिवार, प्रकृति, पर्यावरण व राष्ट्र का भी कल्याण हो। अपने राष्ट्र को प्रेम करें, अपनी धरती को प्रेम करें, परिवार के सभी सदस्यों को अपना बनाये, सबको प्रेम बांटे परन्तु वह प्रेम, आध्यात्मिकता, सत्य और करूणा से युक्त हो।

आईये आज अपने प्रेम के माध्यम से पूरे ब्रह्मांड, सम्पूर्ण मानवता और सभी प्राणियों के लिए अपने प्यार का इजहार करें। हम प्रत्येक व्यक्ति, जाति, धर्म, सम्प्रदाय, हर किसी और सभी प्रजातियों से वास्तविक प्रेम करें अगर हम ऐसा व्यवहार करने में सफल होते है तो यही वेलेंटाइन डे की सार्थकता है और यही इस दिन का वास्तविक संदेश भी है।
