विजय दिवस के अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने दी प्रदेशवासियों को शुभकामनाएं

देहरादून: मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र सिंह रावत ने विजय दिवस के अवसर पर भारतीय सेना, भूतपूर्व सैनिकों, देश एवं प्रदेश वासियों को बधाई दी है।

उन्होने कहा कि भारतीय सेना के वीर जवानों द्वारा पाकिस्तान पर ऐतिहासिक विजय प्राप्त करने के उपलक्ष्य में 16 दिसम्बर को विजय दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

यह दिवस भारतीय सेना के शौर्य, पराक्रम और मान को स्थापित करता है। मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र ने कहा है कि भारत के सैन्य इतिहास में 16 दिसम्बर वीरता व पराक्रम का ऐतिहासिक दिन है।

इसी दिन मात्र 13 दिन में भारतीय सैनिकों के साहस व बहादुरी के सामने नतमस्तक होकर पाकिस्तानी सेना के 93 हजार सैनिकों को आत्मसमर्पण करना पड़ा था। हमारे सैन्य इतिहास की यह सबसे बड़ी विजय थी।

मुख्यमंत्री ने 1971 भारत-पाक युद्ध के शहीदों को नमन करते हुए कहा कि हमारे सैनिकों के पराक्रम से पाकिस्तानी सैनिकों का मनोबल टूट गया था। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड, देवभूमि के साथ ही वीर भूमि भी है।

यहां सदैव देशभक्ति व राष्ट्र के प्रति समर्पण की भावना रही है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारा सैनिकों के प्रति श्रद्धा का भाव है। प्रदेश में सैनिकों की समस्याओं का निस्तारण प्राथमिकता से किया जा रहा है।

इसके लिए जिलों में एडीएम स्तर के अधिकारी को नोडल अधिकारी बनाया गया है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य में भारतीय सेना को समर्पित एक ऐसा भव्य स्मारक बनाना बनाया जायेगा जिसमें भारतीय सेना का गौरवमय इतिहास की झलक प्रदर्शित की जायेगी, इससे हमारी भावी पीढ़ी को प्रेरणा मिलेगी।

मुख्यमंत्री त्रिवेन्द्र ने कहा कि देश की रक्षा के लिए हमारे वीर सैनिक हमेशा तत्परता के साथ अपना योगदान देते है जिस पर हम गर्व करते हैं।

देश की सीमाओं की रक्षा के लिए वीर सैनिकों द्वारा किए गए सर्वोच्च बलिदान को हमेशा याद रखा जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें अपने सैनिकों की वीरता पर नाज है और पूरा देश उनकी बहादुरी को नमन करता है।
