काशीपुर:  बीती 29 अक्टूबर को 2 लाख से ज्यादा की ठगी के मामले में आईटीआई थाना पुलिस ने पश्चिमी दिल्ली से फरार चल रहे आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।

कोर्ट में पेश करने के बाद उसे जेल भेज दिया गया।दरअसल, काशीपुर के गांव मुकुंदपुर निवासी अमर सिंह ने 8 नवंबर को थाना आईटीआई में तहरीर देकर बताया था कि वह

परमानंदपुर स्थित एक एटीएम पर पैसे निकालने गया था। इस दौरान वहां मौजूद ठगों ने उनका एटीएम कार्ड बदल लिया। बाद में उनके खाते से 2 लाख 24 हजार 713 रुपये निकाल लिये गए।

मामले में दो आरोपियों को पूर्व में ही जेल भेजा जा चुका है जबकि तीसरा आरोपी सुधाकर साहू (उत्तर प्रदेश के कासगंज जिले के सोरों थाना क्षेत्र के गांव मड़ई निवासी) फरार चल रहा था। मुकदमा दर्ज होने के बाद से ही पुलिस उसकी तलाश कर रही थी।

सोमवार को पुलिस को सूचना मिली कि आरोपी पश्चिमी दिल्ली में है। इसके बाद आईटीआई थाना से एसआई राकेश कठैत, कांस्टेबल मुकेश, विनोद विनय आरोपी को गिरफ्तार करने के लिए पश्चिमी दिल्ली पहुंच गए।

सूचना सटीक निकली और आरोपित पुलिस के हत्थे चढ़ गया. मंगलवार को उसे कोर्ट में पेश कर जेल भेज दिया गया ह।.

आरोपी के पास से पुलिस को चार एटीएम, चार पैन कार्ड और चार हजार रुपये बरामद हुए हैं। जबकि पूर्व में जेल भेजे गए दोनों आरोपियों से ₹40 हजार बरामद किए जा चुके हैं।
